PurpleCube is a modern data management platform that helps organizations become more data-centric and drive data democratization. They can handle petabytes of data for a tenth of traditional market costs, enabling organizations to make the best data decisions in the most cost-effective way. We were responsible for creating a site that is simplified, intuitive and user-friendly, while refining the brand's guiding visual theme.

The most problematic was the first stage of the process, that was creating the navigation and structure of the site practically from scratch. A great number of elements required fine-tuning and rethinking. After delving deeper into the project, the number of duplicated or incorrectly placed information was increasing. In the end, we managed to achieve a fully satisfactory result, which is created with the user in mind.
In this case, the start of the design process began with an in-depth analysis of the currently existing site. After analyzing the available data, flow and structure of the site, the decision was made to drastically change almost all user flows. Navigation was the most problematic - severely unintuitive, and the divisions within it were highly confusing and duplicative, making it extremely difficult to just use the site and understand where the user was. Without initially changing these aspects, thereby improving functionality, flows was a top priority. The client didn’t ask us to make changes to them, but coming up with our own initiative, suggesting and applying changes, was essential in this case, which at the end of the day was the right decision.
To achieve a satisfactory result, it was necessary to remove excess categories, add new and merge several existing ones. This made the creation of the structure much straightforward. Moreover, it was possible to match the right information to specific subpages, making the entire website user friendly.
After the analytical work, it became crucial to create a new key visual. The client had its branding in place from the beginning, which required polishing and isolating the main motifs that would be consistent and replicated on individual pages. It was decided to use refined 3D models, a motif consisting of squares in reference to the brand name, and macro typography to add clarity and character to the whole website.
