Curious about how we do what we do? Take a look at our processes! Though keep in mind that these are just guidelines — we always adjust them to every project we do.

Product Design/Development

1. Kick-off

First, you meet your project team, i.e. your project manager, designers and developers. During the kick-off call, you can pitch us your product and we get a chance to bounce early ideas off each other. Also, let’s discuss our process and workflow.

2. Research

We wrap our heads around all the information you provided to make sure we understand everything. If anything’s left unanswered, we do some extra research on our own and share the results with you. And before we officially start the work, we lay out our roadmap.

3. Design

That’s when the work happens. How it happens heavily depends on what we’re trying to do and at what cost. But one is true for every project — that we explore and experiment with many different ideas so that we can be sure we'll choose our best solution.

In general, you can expect a lot of flows, diagrams, workshops, wireframes, prototypes and building the design system.

4. Usability tests

Before we hand-off the designs, let’s check one last time if they actually work. To do that, we test the usability of the design with potential users to see how they interact with the prototype.

5. Hand-off

Once the design is done, our designers work hand-in-hand with the product development team to explain how things should be implemented.

6. Development

Though it’s the last step of our process, the development team doesn’t have to wait until all the designs are done to start their part of the job. Instead, they also, simultaneously, work in iterations, delivering small, quick updates to adapt the design or roadmap if needed.
