Atla is an LLM trained to test & evaluate generative AI applications. It’s transforming AI evaluation with fast and accurate models that ensure generative AI is both safe and reliable. Atla can assess a variety of generative AI applications, including chatbots, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, and content creation tools. It works with any language model—whether from OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Meta, or your own custom model.
We were tasked with creating their new website from the ground up, with the primary goal of showcasing Atla’s capabilities in a simple, intuitive, and user-friendly manner.

The biggest challenge was visually conveying what Atla offers, especially given the tight deadline for launching the site. To achieve this, we created an animated 3D globe in Spline, inspired by Atla’s original logo, which resembled a world atlas silhouette. We transformed it into a fully 3D object, with a transparent ring symbolizing Atla’s AI evaluation (the globe). We extended this 3D aesthetic to showcase their features.
However, the heavy use of 3D elements affected site performance. After brainstorming with the no-code team, we decided to convert the Spline assets into MP4 animations to ensure the site loaded smoothly — a task that proved challenging.
From the start, we knew the site needed to be simple and clear, so we began by outlining a structure that would cover all of Atla’s features and offerings. Once that was established, we focused on developing the visual direction. The primary visual element was the main globe, which we refined through numerous iterations, proposals, and even a live design session with the client. After much collaboration, we agreed on a final design featuring a subtle grain, animated grid, and transparent elements.
Recognizing the potential of the 3D globe, we decided to extend this approach to ensure visual consistency. We created seven additional 3D objects, all based on the same principles, to represent Atla’s features in an abstract, contemporary style.
