AndMe: AI Sidekick for Parents helping them discover fun, personalized activities and nearby spots for their kids. With curated playlists, helpful tips, and custom stories, it makes planning fun-filled adventures easy and effortless.

Initial Problem

There’s no easy, high-quality way to find children’s activities nearby.

Current solutions are cluttered with ads, difficult to navigate, and limited in scope, often focusing on pay-only classes rather than a variety of enriching experiences like parks, playgrounds, and local events. Parents need a more personalized, streamlined approach that makes it easy to discover free or low-cost activities in their area without sifting through overwhelming content or outdated information.

Challenge

Design a mobile app that helps caregivers easily find nearby activities for children, offering a simple, intuitive user experience that stands out from the cluttered and ad-heavy platforms currently available.

Project Execution Process

The project execution deviated from a traditional, textbook design approach due to the unique dynamics of working with the client and the emphasis on speed and adaptability.

While we began with research, empathizing with users as much as possible and creating rough sketches, the process was far from linear. New ideas constantly surfaced throughout the project, requiring us to pivot and iterate rapidly. Jumping into Figma earlier allowed us to test and refine concepts on the go.
